COVID-19 Update: For the 2018-2019 Compliance ONLY -The self-study limitation has been lifted and the compliance period extended until June 29, 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Commission on Continuing Legal Education (“Commission”) has waived the self-study caps for attorneys and judges with the last names beginning with M-Z to complete the CLE requirements for the 2019-2020 compliance period ending December 31, 2020. Accordingly, attorneys and judges may complete all CLE requirements through approved self-study courses, including live interactive webinars, for the compliance period ending December 31, 2020. Please note that, in Ohio, only sponsors can apply for accreditation of self-study programs, attorneys may not.

OH MCLE Requirement:
24 hours per reporting period (2 yrs)
Deadline: December 31st
2.5 hours professional conduct
60 minutes. Divide the total length of the program in minutes by 60 and round up or down to the nearest 1/4.
Limit on credit hours for self-study:
Lorman Live webinars and Ondemand webinars are considered self-study and attendees can receive a maximum of 12 credits per compliance in these formats only.
Lorman provides certificates of attendance via email to all registered attendees for courses completed. If you request credit, you will receive the credit/CLE certificate. Otherwise a general certificate will be provided. Live webinar certificates are emailed generally within 2-3 weeks. Ondemand certificates should arrive within 15 minutes.
Lorman Education Services will report your attendance for live Seminars, live webinars and ondemand webinars provided you have supplied your bar number and requested the credit as well as met all of the needed requirements.
