  • Lectured in continuing legal education presentations and seminars in the area of Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation Law over the course of many years for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, and for various county bar associations
  • Master in the Alexander F. Barbieri Workers’ Compensation American Inn of Court
  • Adjunct lecturer in the College of Professional and Liberal Studies, the Political Science Department, and the Graduate School of Education at Saint Joseph’s University; also serves on the board of trustees of Devon Preparatory School, and is a past president of the Alumni Board of Governors of St. Joseph’s Preparatory School, the St. Thomas More Society of Philadelphia, and the Catholic Philopatrian Literary Institute
  • Baccalaureate degree in biology, and understands the critical medical issues that present regularly in workers’ compensation litigation

  • Practices exclusively in the area of workers' compensation and represents self-insured employers, third party administrators and insurance companies in all aspects of workers' compensation defense work
  • Frequent lecturer and national presenter on workers' compensation subjects as well as a frequent author of many articles in the area; has appeared on numerous occasions on a regional television program, Law Journal, presenting the perspective of the employer in workers' compensation matters
  • Represents and counsels some of the largest employers in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania including, but not limited to, utility companies, national retailers, manufacturers, local and state governments, insurance companies and school districts; he has litigated hundreds of cases to successful conclusions for his clients
  • Member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association committee for Appellate Selection of Judicial Candidates in which he has led investigative panels to help determine the appropriate rating to provide to judges, and individuals who aspire to be appellate judges, throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
  • Selected in a survey of his peers as a Pennsylvania "Super Lawyer" by Law & Politics magazine from 2007 to present; was named a "Super Lawyer" by the 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 "Pennsylvania Super Lawyer," Corporate Counsel edition
