It is important to ensure a complete and unbiased investigation into all sexual harassment complaints. The investigation must be prompt, fair, and thorough. Sexual harassment investigations are among the most sensitive and, in many cases, the most complex that a company must conduct. Allegations of sexual harassment must be assessed, investigated, and resolved as soon as possible to ensure the behavior stops and does not continue. Failure to conduct a fair and expedient investigation could result in more and escalated incidents, lawsuits, increased employee turnover, or harm to the company’s reputation. This program will help one understand how to take sexual harassment complaints as well as conduct fair and unbiased investigations in order to obtain a resolution.
