Introductory to intermediate level best police practices and legal training on the phenomena of Agitated Excited Delirium Syndrome (ED/S) and in-custody death.
You will become familiar with the psychophysiological and serious medical emergency referred to by medical examiners and pathologists as Excited Delirium Syndrome. Additionally, you will learn from a police and medical perspective how to properly forensically investigate post-incident in-custody deaths where ED/S is suspected. Attorneys with risk management, agency defense, police auditing, prosecutorial or civil rights assignments will receive information best practices training, policy and the discovery process involved in Excited Delirium Syndrome events.
