Upon completing a foreclosure, many lenders/foreclosed property purchasers are faced with remaining occupants, whether known or unknown, in the subject premises. The attendee can expect to understand how to identify the correct approach to evict the remaining occupants or disposing of personal property that remains in the subject. This includes knowledge of any required predicate notices, the correct format of the notice of petition and petition in a holdover eviction proceeding, how to serve the pleadings, and what to expect in landlord/tenant court (also known as housing court), as well as the lockout process.
