New EEO-1 Law Updates: What You Need to Know

Gain valuable insights on new EEO-1 law updates.

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission has released its strategic plan for fiscal years 2018-2022 (the "Plan"). There has been a great deal of change coming out of Washington over the past couple of years. This has been evidenced by the changes regarding the EEO-1 Report and the salary test for overtime exemptions. There has also been change at the state level. This information will bring employers up-to-date on what has transpired in Washington, the Plan, and what employers should expect in 2019. This topic will cover, understanding who must file and how to prepare to file EEO-1 reports in 2019; determine whether to conduct an equal pay audit in 2019; learn about the EEOC's focus this year; and understand and incorporate changes at the state level that relate to the employer-employee relationship.
