New York Sexual Harassment Prevention Training

Gain a better understanding of how to correctly respond to harassment claims and avoid legal consequences.

Sexual harassment prevention training is 100% mandatory for all employers in New York State. The New York State Department of Labor, along with the New York State Division of Human Rights, has set forth the following areas which must be covered during the training session: 1. What is sexual harassment? 2. Examples of sexual harassment 3. Information concerning federal, state and local laws which address sexual harassment 4. Review of remedies available to employees who are victims of sexual harassment under federal and state law 5. Information concerning employee's right of redress and all available forums for adjudicating complaints of sexual harassment In addition to the above requirements the training program must be "interactive" and occur every year. The first mandatory training session needs to be concluded by October 9, 2019. Lorman's sexual harassment training program not only meets all mandatory training requirements, but it exceeds them. The training covers your company specific Sexual Harassment Prevention Policy and Complaint Form.
