What are the collateral security duties?
It is usual for a member of the syndicate to take on the role of holding, managing and dealing with the security over collateral in the syndicated secured transaction. This can be the agent, or where multiple roles and appointments are contemplated a specifically appointed collateral agent. This white paper reviews the provisions as to who will act in this capacity, and discusses amendments, waivers and consents.
