Can HSAs drive down health care costs?
Health savings accounts have become more and more popular since they first hit the scene in 2003 and will only continue to grow in popularity. Employees are able to save money for medical expenses – tax-free – as are the interest earnings and distributions for qualified medical expenses. However, without the resources needed to make informed decisions employees won’t benefit from the HSA option.
