Growing Regularity and the Need for Guidance

FSMB Model Guidance for the Recommendation of Medical Marijuana

Medical marijuana use for patient care has experienced growth and acceptance on a large scale. More and more states are authorizing the use of marijuana in some form. As this trend continues, crucial questions need to be asked regarding physicians may recommend medical marijuana as a regular part of their practice and what procedures need to be put in place to ensure compliance. This white paper reviews guidelines that the FSMB has adopted.
