More refined statistical analysis of Home Mortgage Disclosure Act data.
Beginning in 2019, expanded HMDA data was made available for regulatory and public analysis, including expanded information about such things as applicant income, credit score, debt-to-income and loan-to-value ratios, and reasons for credit denial. This type of information has been available to a certain degree to regulators and examiners; however, has not been readily available to the general public for analysis. This white paper reviews how statistical analysis of this type of information could significantly impact pending mergers, acquisitions, and many other matters.
