Corporate America’s Diversity Goals Under Scrutiny

Learn how to achieve diversity, equity, and inclusion while remaining compliant.

Many companies have publicly committed to increase representation of African Americans in the workforce, specifically in management positions. As a response to these public announcements, the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs advised many of those companies that these commitments indicate application of race-based selection processes and has asked them to illustrate that the actions they are taking aren’t comprised of unlawful race-based practices. This white paper discusses the OFCCP’s concern and how companies can broaden diverse representation in the workplace without while staying in compliance.
