CFPB Issues Report on Tradeline Reporting by Third-Party Debt Collectors
Could medical debt act as ammunition towards amending FCRA’s restrictions?
The new report recently released by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, reviews tradelines disclosed by third-party debt collectors as reflected on credit reports assembled by nationwide consumer reporting agencies. These tradelines consist of those accounted for by debt buyers and those accounted for by non-buyers.
