What Can an Owner Do to Increase Quality of Bidders

Find the right balance for you and your company.

The prequalification of bidders including submission of questionnaires and financial statements, along with experience qualifications, and performance vs. price are important factors to consider. Selecting general contractors requires many considerations. Successful contractors are diligent about keeping their subcontractors’ qualification information complete and current for targeted messaging. General contractors who can target subs in needed “wheelhouses” will get reliable and responsive bids from subs who will have lower labor and material costs relative to subs who do not specialize in this area.
