In this video you will learn about some of the key financial ratios and walk through an example of financial statements to get a better idea of what to look for and how to read the results of the financial statements. Some of the key financial ratios to be explored and reviewed include: Liquidity Ratios, Activity Ratios, Leverage Ratios, Profitability Ratios, and Market Ratios. An example auditors reports to shareholders will be evaluated and you’ll be guided through the Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Statement of Cash Flow. At the end of the video, we’ll review the use of the Altman Z-Score and how to predict the profitability that a firm wants.

Sereika is a frequent presenter on credit and financial topics and was named the 2010 NACM co-national instructor of the year.
