Responding to Credit Reporting Disputes

The process of investigating a consumer’s dispute with one of the CRAs is a multiple step process.

There are different types of disputes – those received from the credit reporting agencies, direct disputes from the consumer, and joint credit disputes. Disputes received from CRAs are more streamlined. The direct disputes from the consumer come in all shapes and sizes and clients may question if the dispute is really a dispute, and how should they respond. This video will provide greater detail on how to respond to these types of disputes, as well as responding through E-Oscar and Metro 2.
