Reading Financial Statements - Ratio Analysis

 

Another tool of financial analysis is the review of financial ratios.

This analysis technique is used by the owners and shareholders, financial managers, production, marketing and human resource managers of a corporate firm for making various decisions. Financial ratios are also applied by the creditors, investors, long-term financiers in assessing the financial performance of the firm in which they have vested interests.
