Physician and Patient Privilege

Is every part of a conversation between the physician and the patient considered privileged?

This type of privilege is similar to the attorney-client privilege. Essentially any communication that a health care provider has with their patient will maintain a privilege if that communication deals with a medical issue or has something to do with why the patient is seeing the health care provider. This video reviews the different communications that are considered privileged and what types are not.
