Confronting Employees and Team Building Exercises for Clashing Coworkers

Appeal to the greater good.

There will come a time when you have to confront an employee, which is especially true when having accountability conversations. It’s not always comfortable but is necessary. Practicing active listening can help the employee feel heard and allows you to concentrate, respond and remember what is being said. Giving a voice to the employee gives them dignity and shows respect. People that are given a voice and respect are more likely to support the decision of the conversation and the group as a whole. This video reviews tips for those conversations as well as offers team building exercises.
