Common Construction Contract Breaches

 

What is a breach?

In order for there to be a breach of a contract there first has to be a valid and enforceable contract. The party that didn’t breach, the plaintiff, has to have performed their part of the contract up until the breach by the other side, the defendant. As a result of the breach, the plaintiff has to has suffered some sort of damages. This video reviews common breaches of construction contracts, including failure to pay, defects, and delays.
