Bid protests typically happen in one of two situations. Either the agency rejects the low bidder and the low bidder protests; or the agency awards the bid to the low bidder and another bidder protests because they don’t think the winning bidder should have been awarded the project. This video reviews the procedures that are followed when a bid protest occurs and discusses the remedies that occur as well.
