Do you know what the difference is between exemption and exclusion?

There are fundamental distinctions between exemptions and exclusion. Why does the distinction matter? Exemptions are strictly construed in favor of taxation and exclusions are liberally construed in favor of the taxpayer. The application of statutory construction can determine the outcome of a case. This video will walk you through the basics of exemptions, how to identify the proper jurisdiction for exemption certificates and sourcing rules for interstate sales.
