Workplace Issues in California: The Right to Sit and More

Gain an understanding of workplace issues in California, discriminatory and harassment behavior, and potential lawsuit hazards. Many employers, attorneys, and human resource personnel have a problem recognizing the hazards and limitations of employers with respect to potential law-suits—particularly in a so-called 'at will' state. This topic will help these actors understand the hazards better, and understand how best to either defend or exploit them, depending on who is represented. This material will go through with some detail the pitfalls that lurk against employers, and provide analysis on how to reduce and defend (or attack) as to these pitfalls. This topic will also apply real world examples in litigation, thereby providing critical information to employers, human resource professionals, and attorneys who work in the labor/employment space.
