Bringing personal devices into corporate situations presents unique privacy issues and potential liabilities. Alternatively, corporate issued mobile devices also come with their own unique issues that we should all be aware of. Adding to the complexity of liability concerns are regulatory, compliance and HR requirements that can often increase the risk of potential liability. This presentation will help individuals navigate the difficult world of mobile devices in the workforce and what liabilities exist. You will learn what precautions can be taken when using a mobile device for business purposes and what responsibilities may be required of the device owner. You will better understand the implications of certain app usage, corporate integrations and retention/compliance programs that focus on mobile devices.
