Most people believe they are in control of their decisions, yet they often fall into thinking and behavior traps without realizing it. Breaking these ingrained habits can feel difficult and unnecessarily burdensome. Too often, individuals and organizations take action only after inertia has carried them to a point where the consequences can no longer be ignored--by which time the cost of repairing long-standing damage far exceeds the cost of addressing the problem early. This presentation introduces a practical framework for mastering habits at both the individual and organizational level. Drawing on the presenter's experience in legal support and legal operations, the material illustrates how people and companies can meaningfully improve their thinking and behavior by developing constructive, success-driven habits. While cultivating the right habits does not guarantee success in every instance, success is far less likely without them.
