California Environmental Quality Act Update

Stay current on the ever changing legal landscape of CEQA and avoid the pitfalls that are inherent in applying.

CEQA continues to evolve in the courts. The last quarter of 2016 and 2017 so far were no exceptions, including three significant California Supreme Court decisions and dozens of Court of Appeal decisions. This information will cover all of the Supreme Court decisions, along with the significant Court of Appeal decisions that will shape how CEQA compliance is achieved going forward. It will feature a discussion of practical applications of these decisions and a discussion of pending Supreme Court cases that may be decided by the end of 2017. Keeping current on the ever evolving legal landscape is essential for every CEQA practitioner in order to avoid the many pitfalls that are inherent in applying CEQA. This topic will provide important information to update CEQA partitions on the many changes and refinements to the law.
