The Contract for the Carriage of Goods is usually ancillary to the commercial transaction between the Seller and Buyer of the goods. The Contract for the Carriage of Goods facilitates the sale of those goods by the Seller to the Buyer.  There are typical commercial transactions in which the Contract of Carriage facilitates sales and involves many different agreements.
