Jaci is the CEO & Executive director of the Fair Media Council, a New York-based nonprofit organization that works to create a media savvy society that concentrates in teaching organizations how to effectively pitch the media and creating communication plans that emphasize push-pull information techniques. She has conducted seminars and workshops throughout the country on the changing media landscape and how it impacts an organization's ability to be heard. Jaci is an award-winning communications professional, with more than 20 years experience in strategic communications, marketing, news and media, and holds the title of Executive Communicator, the highest rank of distinction bestowed by the Association for Women in Communications. Jaci received the Media Advocate of the Year Award from the Long Island Association and the Distinguished Service Award from the Advancement for Commerce, Industry and Technology (ACIT).
Jaci has served as an adjunct professor of journalism at Hofstra University, a member of the advisory board of Media Ethics Magazine, published by the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and a member of the board of The Early Years' Institute and Bethpage Federal Credit Union.
