Heather is the author of Getting Started/Restarted with Safe Patient Handling & Movement and has written a variety of publications on safe patient handling, as well as culture change.

Heather's experience includes roles as a: staff nurse, charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, nurse educator, nurse consultant/practitioner (clinically managed a floor of 21 rehabilitation patients), clinical advisor to the CNO, clinical specialist in Geriatrics.
