At Chazen, I am responsible for all wetland and ecological services; I assist in the coordination of archeological services by consulting archeologists; and I help develop regulatory strategies for projects undergoing multiple concurrent environmental reviews.
I started my career in the Regulatory Branch of the US Army Corps of Engineers (Los Angeles and Philadephia Districts), where I delineated wetlands and processed permits for all sorts of projects, including a golf course for Arnold Palmer and dredging for the Trump Princess.
I've prepared numerous environmental assessment forms and impact statements for a wide range of projects under both the State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA) and the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). I've managed the approvals for housing subdivisions, retail developments, county jails and cellular communication towers.
