What Are North Carolina’s CPE Requirements?
CPAs in North Carolina are required to complete 2,000 minutes of CPE training each calendar year. This must include at least 60 minutes of professional ethics training.
Up to 1,000 minutes in any of the above subjects can be carried over and put toward a future year’s CPE requirement.
The North Carolina State Board of Certified Public Accountant Examiners recommends that CPE be earned through an organization listed on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors.
