Nevada CPE Requirements and Courses
CPE requirements in the Silver State are established by the Nevada State Board of Accountancy based on National Association of State Boards of Accountancy Accountancy (National Association of State Boards of Accountancy) guidelines. The board requires that all CPAs in Nevada complete 80 hours of CPE training every two years, with a minimum 20 hours completed each year. 4.0 credits in professional ethics — typically one four-hour course — must be completed during that period. As well, any CPA that participated in an audit, review, full disclosure compilation or attestation that year must ensure that 8.0 of their CPE hours have a focus on accounting and auditing.
