In Indiana, licensed architects must complete 24 hours of continuing education training every two years, with at least 16 hours covering HSW (Health, Safety and Welfare) topics.
You must complete your education by the 31st of December of every odd-numbered year, and you will be reminded of this due date by a renewal notice about two months before your licensed is set to expire. In addition, if you are a member of the AIA (the American Institute of Architects), you must complete 18 hours of continuing education (with 12 in HSW topics) every year.
