CPE Requirements for Arkansas State Board of Public Accountancy Members
Arkansas’ CPE requirements for CPAs and other accounting professionals are spelled out in Rule 13 of the State Board of Public Accountancy’s charter. It states that all members must complete 120 hours of authorized training every 36 months or 40 hours every 12 months. At least 50 percent of these credits must be in a topic related to accounting, accounting ethics, attest or taxation. Additionally, 20 percent of required hours must be related to attest and accounting theory/practice.
Credits can be earned through any combination of live training, archived training, self-study or independent study programs.
