Terminating Easements Due Diligence

Learn about the various methods and how to properly terminate an easement. Easements contemplate use of the property over many years and are often permanent or perpetual but changes in property ownership, changes in use and legalities can lead to the necessity of terminating an easement. Easements can be terminated in numerous ways. This topic will help lawyers, right of way agents, land acquisition personnel and other persons responsible for the preparation, negotiation, execution and use of easements better understand the principles applicable to terminating easements. You will be guided through the types of easement terminations and will be provided with an overview of the distinguishing characteristics of the various types of easement terminations.
