How to Recruit the Best When Your Company Can Afford Them

How do you recruit the best when your company can afford them? College recruiting is one option in recruiting the best you can find while you can afford them. One suggestion is to set up a special arrangement with the department in which area you are looking to hire. Whether it’s the software engineering department, renewable energy department, need people with English degrees, math majors, etc… set up a special program with them. You could bring speakers into the college to discuss real life applications of what they do, provide a sponsorship of a program that the university wouldn’t be able to do without your sponsorship, these things can make your company known and increase the potential of attracting the best of the best.

In this 51-minute video our speaker, Bill Humbert, reviews job descriptions which are a fundamental and important step in the recruitment process. They help determine who you are going to source, who you are going to interview and who you are going to select. Mr. Humbert also discusses different types of interview questions and new employee selection.
