Washington Takes Aim, Again, at Creating a GDPR-Style Privacy Law of Its Own

Learn details about the proposed Washington Privacy Act.

Recently, State of Washington lawmakers introduced a law that would offer state residents new privacy rights. If the Washington Privacy Act is passed, it would be similar to the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the newly enacted California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). This white paper reviews what the Washington Privacy Act would grant consumers and discusses if it would apply to your company.
