OIG Greenlights Digital Health Program Offering Free Smartphones to Patients

The HHS Office of Inspector General recently have a virtual care company and pharmaceutical manufacturer the go ahead for getting smartphones into the hands of patients. These loaned smartphones will allow patients to track their drug therapy through the use of a mobile app. This white paper reviews this technology and what the proposed program is about.
