Construction Contracts Escalation Cause

Gain ideas on how to handle the changes in construction costs.

While they would like to, contractors and subcontractors are not able to see into the future when it comes to their projects. Customarily, construction contracts comprise the memorialization of what will be carried out during the project timeline and what the cost will be. The contractors and subcontractors involved in the contract then have to manage their labor, material, and overhead costs during the project in order to be profitable.  This white paper reviews how typically anticipated profits are difficult to maintain and discusses how contractors and subcontractors are able to cover the fluctuation of construction costs.
