A Condominium Owner Did Not Pay the Assessment

How Do I Collect?

A condominium assessment is a share of the funds that are necessary for the payment of common expense, which can be claimed from the condominium unit owner. There are two forms of assessments: general assessments and special assessments; and regardless of the assessment type if the condo owner is required to pay the amount due and they don’t, they question of collections comes into play. This white paper walks through the steps the condo association can take to file a claim of lien against the unit owner.
