  • In the 1980’s, she was awarded numerous grants that resulted in the first laptop computer project in the nation
  • Former state department of education executive staff, she successfully generated over $52 million in federal and foundation/corporate grants
  • Coordinated 154 sub-grants issued by the state department to local school systems and other nonprofit and community based organizations
  • Worked with educational technology companies where she was responsible for managing all grants and bid opportunities for the K-12, international and post secondary markets
  • Received numerous grant and education awards and was recognized in Who’s Who Executive and Professional registry and Who’s Who in American Education
  • Recipient of the National Congressional Business Advisory Council Award, U.S. Department of Education Outstanding Service Award, Alpha Delta Kappa International Women Educators Award, Instructional Computer Coordinators Innovative Technology Award, and many others
  • Co-wrote A Guide For The Self Study Of School District Improvement: Applying Themes From Scientifically Based Research
  • Adjunct faculty member at Nova Southeastern University where she works with the United States Distance Learning Association and the International Center for Distance Learning and Praxis
