Drafting Effective Easements - Location

The legal description may be the most important detail.

The legal description of an easement and the underlying property should be clearly identified. The clearest way to do this is to identify the properties by their legal descriptions. Obtaining a survey of the property is prudent, even when there is an existing survey. This video discusses the importance of the legal description, access to the easement, and terms and considerations.
