  • An adjunct professor of special education at University of St. Joseph, West Hartford, Connecticut, since 2011, teaching graduate courses on social skill interventions and behavioral practices
  • Designed a research - based ecological model program of instructional strategies/proactive behavioral interventions for elementary - secondary educators
  • Created instructional videotapes on my ecological model system
  • Conducted professional development workshops on programming for challenging students to thousands of educators in dozens of school districts
  • Consulted in 205 schools/social service agencies since 1973, especially in urban communities
  • Spoken at multiple national conferences on strategies for instructing and managing at-risk learners
