Dr. Angela Norman, DNP, APRN, GNP-BC, ACNP-BC, CDP, CADDCT, CDE has been in the nursing profession for 23 years practicing as a geriatric nurse practitioner for the past 13 years. She uses her expertise to train health care professionals, first responders and families to better care for those with dementia.
Dr. Norman has extensive experience as the key note speaker at dementia conferences as well as providing one on one consultation to families. She shares her personal experiences and the knowledge she has gained from extensive study and training to provide seminars that present up-to-date information and a holistic approach to caregiving. Dr. Norman received her instructor’s license through the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners.

About Me

What topics have you lectured or presented on?
I am committed to caring for older adults in the State of Arkansas and regularly provides educational opportunities through the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. I am nationally certified as a Certified Dementia Practitioner and instructor. I have trained over 1,000 healthcare professionals in and out of the state on dementia care.
What are some recognizable representative clients?
I was appointed by Governor Beebe to the Office of Long Term Care Board and recently appointed to the Arkansas Lifespan Respite Coalition. I also serve on numerous boards and committees across the state
