What is the main focus of your practice?
I have pursued two related careers for thirty years. In one career, I am a civil trial lawyer, emphasizing government liability, real property and commercial litigation, human resources and civil rights lawsuits. In my "second career," I have taught law at three law schools (University of Denver College of Law, Gonzaga University School of Law, and University of Idaho College of Law, since 1987. I teach Local Government, Administrative, Civil Procedure and Conflicts of Laws, Uniform Commercial Code Articles 2-2A, Ethics, Real Estate and Business Associations, among others.
What are some recognizable representative clients?
I have represented the City of Spokane and Spokane County, Phillips 66 (as local counsel), and a wide variety of public and private entities in Washington and Idaho.
