Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to Reduce Workers Comp Claims

Without PPE, employers will have both OSHA recordables and Workers Comp liability issues.

All businesses, regardless of size, are required by law to follow OSHA laws, rules and regulations and maintain compliance of the same. Ignorance of the same is no defense. 29 CFR 1910 and 1926 et. al totals over 25,000 pages. Understanding and attempting compliance is a daunting task. Therefore, businesses often find that adhering to OSHA regulations causes undue hardship in terms of financial burdens to the business and lost time in production which in turn decreases profits. This topic will provide step-by-step strategies for building a plan, implementing the plan and maintaining the plan to ensure compliance meeting the metrics as set forth by the 29 CFR 1910, 29 CFR 1926 and any other applicable laws.
