Tax-Exempt Status Reinstatement: An Update on the New Procedures

Understand the process for applying for reinstatement, and identify common issues faced by organizations before and after revocation.

Tax-exempt organizations may be surprised to find that their tax-exempt status has been automatically revoked by the IRS. Often, this may be the result of issues within the organization, or confusion about requirements for tax-exempt organizations. This can make the process for applying for reinstatement of tax-exempt status more complicated than expected. This presentation will help tax-exempt organizations understand the process for applying for reinstatement, and identify and address common issues faced by organizations before and after revocation. The live webinar will also present examples of revocations and reinstatements. This workshop will help tax-exempt organizations avoid common pitfalls and help set tax-exempt organizations up for success when applying for reinstatement of tax-exempt status.
