This topic will assist employers with navigating the Department of Homeland Security's online E-Verify system which verifies an employee's work eligibility. The Trump administration has indicated that it's considering possible mandatory E-Verify nationwide. Our discussion will cover improvements that E-Verify has made over the years, considerations when enrolling, as well as the proper use of the system. In a climate of heightened enforcement, familiarity with the E-Verify system is critical.
