Reading Stock and Equity Charts 101

Walk away with a better knowledge of how to read and understand charts, indicators, and systems. Stock investing is usually broken down into fundamental analysis, technical analysis or combination of the two. This material is going to talk about technical analysis and the basics of stock charting. It will start with basics of different types of charts. Next, we will talk about basic variables to look at when setting up your charts. We will identify three different types of charts by looking at Pattern, Momentum and Mean Reversion. Lastly, we will present the basics of developing trading systems with indicators and patterns.
