Recent EPA proposal to amend regulations governing disposal of CCR.

This proposal has three main goals that express the EPA’s eagerness to establish operational flexibility into the coal combustion residuals rules. It also hopes to revisit details of the governing standards. One of the more noteworthy proposals is the EPA’s effort to clear up the requirements for remediating non-groundwater CCR release. This white paper review the three main goals of the proposal and what the EPA would like to see changed.
